Harpic is great stuff. Word of warning though, don't leave it o. Too long. My mate was trying to free up sticky piston ring from a 2 stroke. I suggested he try some harpic, so he borrowed his wife's good pan to soak the piston. Left it a couple of days, ring still stuck, but pan hasn't faired...

I'd look at xpel. I got the gen 3 kit from the states, but there are UK sellers as well. At the time, non of the UK sellers had gen 3 kits available.

Mine came with replacement cap heads. Might be wrong as I'm not home to check, but I think they were stainless or galvanised.

I've got a similar teng set, looks like same ratchet, but with a set of spanners up to 19mm. Had it nearly 15 years and very well used. Only thing I've Brocken is the 1/2 adaptor, but that was using a cheater bar over a meter long on a car wheel. (It wasn't me using it! FIL was, I wasn't happy...

Could maybe contact Phil crowe as well. I'm struggling to get my head round a worn drive chain causing that noise with the engine stopped. It the coolant is boiling/bubbling then there is something majorly wrong, I think, and the engine would be cooked.
