    Jerez 18th September

Think I will be giving it a miss if they are as bad as they look. Would think it will curtail the enjoyable 'fun riding' knowing it could be a trip to hospital....

Machine Learning comes to road surveillance...

I cannot see the problem with it, keep off the phone, simples ..... If you want to drive, put yr belt on. It all makes sense, no-one was happy when law made helmets compulsory but head injuries declined, same as seatbelts .... I'll have to roll my cigarettes before I leave now :grumpy:

    Worth it?

Being an old git, I'm past buying bling if there's no function for it. Bought my s1k m-sport (ex demo) which already had the carbon wheels and I have to say they do make a difference but mainly on track. Had a front rim crack in a pothole but probably partly my fault running lower pressures.

sprint performance air filter, worth it?

Unless the bikes doing standing 1/4's etc where 1000th's of a second counts, I can't see the point of changing from OE.

AAs Alex commented... Old cupboard door placed as shown before removal, when refitting the wheel will be in the same p[lace as when removed, or, can be adjusted very easily. Can't remember the part number, used since 2010 :excitement::excitement:

    Sunday at Donington

Build up was dodgy, off, on, off, on, all due to the weather forecast we all get pinned to. I vowed I wouldn't go unless the forecast was 50% rain or less due to a 3.5 hr journey each way. As it turned out, pi$$ed down on the way up there, during the night and waking up next morning. Stopped...

Contact / Friction between Brake Pad and Rotor Disc

Rule of thumb is generally after fitting is 3/4 to full single rotation of the wheel when spun by hand

Piston Separator / Spreader on OEM Calipers

I stick a spare pad or similar in one side (or leave it on) while working on the other, Improvising is cheaper lol. When removing off the leg, i lever the caliper more than usual to separate the pads.

    Coffee Machine

I have a Tassimo, good selection on a monthly repeat with Amazon (cheaper that way) about 25p each. Agree not cost effective but hassle free.
