    Screeching/scraping noise

Appears to be a random as opposed to per revolution. Warped disc you would know, damaged abs ring you would know, possibly disc on caliper. had it on mine (gen 4, also RSV4) where the right hand fork bottom where the pinch bolts hold the spindle sits in too far on the spindle causing the caliper...

Yes, yet another good trip, matched my best 2.05, can't help but be disappointed not to at least knock a second off, ol father time I guess. Alex was on the ball, he's just got to hold his body together (again ) On to Mugello next, new track for me so no expectations ...

    Protection on track days?

Ive always used my RR, it's what I know and what I'd like to learn more about. Did the CSS school way back which I thought was a good insight but then did a 1-1 coaching day (and another later) and learnt a helluva lot more than with CSS. Having done both I would recommend the 1-1 all day. I...

Anybody used these ? Pleasant surprise today, in the loft sorting out for Portimao drop off and found a pr of GP Racer slicks in the wheel bags, forgot I bought them on a deal last year , result ! Looking on their site for pressures and although the fronts are usual pressures the rears are...

    Down shift assist?

Have the same at lower revs, it's like the engine breaking is loading the gearbox before blip is activated. High revs it's perfect, I guess riding it 'properly' you would be changing down at same time as shutting the throttle (unloading the box) whereas road riding perhaps is not as one.
