Agree with starter motor, sounds like not enough current to spin it, just enough to partly activate the solenoid I'd look for bad earth, can you get to the starter and put a direct feed to it? (live and earth)

From memory, yes. Need to get to the back of the radiator to secure the wire Feed it through where you can

I use lock wire, threads through easily if you're patient

Dont know if its the same but on my gen3 i did a d-cat and left the butterfly in, being shut keeps noise down when track noise testing. It opens when on the gas?

What was the problem with it?

Will be a complete deep clean over winter, any paintwork necessary will be carried out. Need to decide whether to persevere and keep it or sell and find a nice gen3 to fully track. 🤷‍♂️:unsure:

Any paint product that's applied to the guards will chip off fairly easily unfortunately

The wheel will fit but abs tc wont work. Get it flipped.... When i raced my gen 1, it started raining just before a race so arushed wheel change. On the warm up lap I had all the dash lights on (WTF!) Realised what I'd done, had to do the wet race with no abs tc etc, scary stuff lol !
