Yep, I?m still going. Was at Donny Tuesday and it rained. Loved it. Modern wets are amazing things even in the dry. ?

    Gen 4 seats

Yep, I?ve got one of those as well. Ok but could be better. J

    Gen 4 seats

That?s good to know. It?s between the S1000R ?M Sport? seat and the ?Tall? Seat in my thoughts at the moment.

Software upgrade? - stops easy stalling

Moan, moan, moan at your dealer. Mine was a 2019 build with the original clutch that didn?t allow you to find neutral. Varying quality of start up, sometimes good sometimes coughing, spluttering and stalling. Gave the dealer a long letter detailing problems. All requests were approved by Germany...

    Gen 4 seats

Guys, I was having some warranty work done on my bike yesterday and I had the latest Get 3 S1000R M Sport for the loan bike... Lovely bike.... perfect if it had a fairing. Now my bike is amazing but for the seat.... so I compared the two seats from the two bikes. They use the same base pan...

Advice , what would you do ?. ?

I put clear tape on the fork legs (all over front of bike) when I go with my mates to France as we all run sticky tyres and stones are always being thrown up. It saves the fork legs but doesn?t look great after a few days as water can get behind it as the fork tubes themselves have tiny grooves...

Sam too right. That would have been a mare out there. Blimey you must have a big head judging by the size of your helmet in the picture. ;) ;)

Advice , what would you do ?. ?

Yep, however careful you are, things will get marked. As Forest Gump would say... '**** Happens" Be thankful you don't have a GS ;)

    Gen 4 TPM

I loved Danny Alderidge?s explanation of winners being under the minimum tyre pressure. He made politicians look like beginners at avoiding answering the question by a very long convoluted answer.

Oli, Well done with the physio. I can't do what you're doing with two perfect shoulders! ;)

    Gen 4 TPM

That sounds like the fiasco in MotoGP where one race team's PSI reading differs from another teams because they use different sensors. If they were accurate they would all read the same! They use that excuse to get around the minimum allowed level. :bi_polo:

    Gen 4 TPM

Easy enough to check with a pressure gauge. If the numbers match up at the same time, they're accurate.

Bike goes in to limp mode when on wide open throttle

A bit left field, I've had that with a Ducati. I thought immediately Fuel or spark. Turned out to be the Regulator/Rectifier proving too high a voltage at high revs and the bike would just go into protection mode. Also check the battery connections as the more electronics it has, the more...

    HP4 DDC front fork service

I'll explain Dave's answer a bit. The DDC fork is what's known as a 'closed cartridge system' ie the actual valving and oil used for damping is in a small pressurised canister. The oil in the fork you normally think of as the oil used for valving is there only to lube the two tubes and provide...

    RPM Carbon

All my rpm fitted perfectly and without the stupidly thin easily broken tabs on the OE bodywork. I had that problem on the Ilmberger panels. J

    First road bike off

Yep, I was lucky in ?91 to have Gordon Hadfield in my local hospital in St.Peter?s, Chertsey. We all think that things have moved on so much but in Orthopaedic surgery, it?s still what you see in Napoleon/Nelson war surgeries. Hacksaws, Drills, Bolts, Plates and guess work.
