    2018 S1000RR Slipping Clutch

Good to know... Ducati state a certain stack height but in reality this can vary a lot. So you can add an extra steel ie non friction from your old pack as they rarely wear out next to the first or last steel or in between to increase the stack height. worth a try. Assuming the springs etc are...

    2018 S1000RR Slipping Clutch

Do BMW give a stack height ie Overall height of all plates when out of the bike? Being a Dry clutch Ducati owner, many an evening I've spent doing this. You know when you've gone too far in height as the clutch drags. too small a stack height and it'll slip in upper gears peak torque. I don't...

    Short levers

Never seen the point of short levers. Less leverage and sometimes you need all 4 fingers on the brake lever. :cower:

On the Neevsey videos, he does a number of them and I think it's the Caldwell one where he goes on about ride height.

    7. The bike came with a lovely titanium Akra which could never be called quiet. So I had mark at MHP make up a TI like pipe in 65mm so I could fit my various collection of silencers I had on my Gen 3. I also got him to make up one of his baffles for the std can (akra baffle was meaningless)...

Keith, I know this a personal preference thing but I always try and test things for my own peace of mind, so I don't wonder if..... I try everything at both extremes whether it's suspension settings, ride height so you know what the boundaries feel like and you then adjust ie thinking...

    4. What is it about BMW and mudguards.? Let's put a hole directly inline with the stanchions so road debris can damage them. A bit of black mesh of ebay and some silicone sorted that. 5. My bike is a 2020 registered but 2019 built and hadn't had any updates. I gave a list of moans to the...

Bit quiet on the forum so here's some talking points. So I've had my bike for 10 months now and some of you know I've been fiddling with it. :tennis: I've ridden for 41 years now as much mileage each year as health and time allow and I'm always analysing what could be better. I raced...

    Maintenance-free chain

So the only reason I can think of the Endurance chain not being listed for the Gen 3 is that it doesn't have enough links ie sub 120. Also BMW say it s now classified as a reduced maintenance chain, not maintenance free. Also below a long term test. I've always been a huge fan of AFAM stuff...

Hi, A favour to ask... Anyone with the Gilles axle adjusters, could you possibly measure hole centres (marked in green). Just formulating a plan. Thanks, J
