    Winter plans?

yep, loosening the top 2 radiator mounts and dropping the rad/oil cooler off their central ‘wire’ mounts help immensely. Bending your feeler gauges also help a lot. Also a sheet of cardboard taped on the inside of the rad helps prevent damage. I’ve done it so many times now that from picking up...

To all the things that have failed

Don't go RAC as I've had a minimum of a 7.5 hour wait twice. Both the Highways agency and myself were lied to multiple times. They hold on for 6 hours to see if they can get one of their patrolman to look at it... after 6 hours they hand it off to a third party. I asked both third party recovery...

    GSA1300 2024

The new GS 1300 Adventure. It looks like they have a massive key fob on the side of the tank? Maybe that’s how they stop the key and the ECU/Dash loosing contact with each other and throwing up shouty messages on the dash. 🤷‍♂️😂 That’s the motorcycle equivalent of the Fiat Multipla.

    Front Sprocket Removal Help?

Yep, an impact driver is the easiest. If you can get a family member to push down on the rear brake whilst it’s in first gear and have a longish breaker bar it’ll come loose. J

    Cam chain rattle

I’ve gone to manual tensioners on both my Gen 3 & Gen 4. Sounds like a proper engine instead of one that’s dropped a valve. 😉

    Radiator upgrade

I’ve got Chinese radiators that I’ve run for 10 years plus on my Ducati 1098, Suzuki TL1000R and Honda Dullsville without any problems. Each model has its mounting issue as standard OEM. Ducati breaks top right mount. They’ve all lasted more miles than OE. No issues IMHO.

Iffy Oxygen Sensor and removal of SOS.

If you happen to have a GS-911, with the latest diagnostics you can record 64 individual parameters inc O2 sensors when you go out for a ride. Each key off/on it’ll record as separate ‘rides’ J

Iffy Oxygen Sensor and removal of SOS.

I’ve had the O2 sensor error a number of times. Low battery voltage everytime for me. It’s always been when Ive forgotten to plug in the battery tender and it’s sat for a week. J

Help oil change in DDC electronic fork BMW S1000RR K 67

So those figures are correct. Yep, BMW really didn't think about the DDC electrical connector on the left fork as you have to use a very fine pick to 'release' the pins to remover the connector so you can completely remover the top cap. It's a pain in the arse to be honest. Bearing in mind that...

    Lithium battery maintenance advice needed

I swear by these… they do a specific Lithium but I find that one a little too fussy/alarmist. Saved me so many times. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200609174686?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Z99PTdcuRNm&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=YNq_2dmRQuu&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

    Lithium battery maintenance advice needed

As long as your charger doesn’t have a desulphate function it’ll be fine. Lithium batteries don’t like the +|~ switching that function does. Optimate Duo ie does both acid and lithium are great. Lithium batteries don’t like over charging ie 14.7+v and weirdly if it’s cold, they need warming up...
