    Re: hill start control

Well turned it back on this evening. Only tried it in auto. Big grab of brake and the green handbrake symbol comes on. Tiniest movement of the clutch sometimes turns it off, other times it’s as if...

    Re: Insurance Quotation Questions

I’ve just insured my Gen 4 and BeMoto were the lease expensive and the only ones that actually no what you’re talking about. The main cost factor is your Job Title, then where it’s parked, how many...

    Re: hill start control

Not what I’ve found. Usual pulling away with rolling off the front brake at the same time rolling out the throttle at the same time as letting out the clutch….. it’s like your brake is locked on....

Yeah right! Speed Camera Warnings? Nope Way Points or Stops? Nope ;)
  8. Re: Don't mount iPhones to Motorbikes says Apple

    Why would you want to?

Your bike has a SatNav, a proper TomTom is the best.

You don’t need to be distracted by the screen livening up because of an email or text etc.

    You can tell Siri to...

    Re: Fairing design... Help!

Remember the colours don’t have to be flat, Wilson can do pearl or subtle glint reflectors in the paint. Take you’re time as once done, it’s done. He sends approval pics before clearcoat. Check...

    Re: Fairing design... Help!

Wilson can do anything. Grey base with those graphics over the top. It normally takes me months to decide what I want. I look around pintrest etc to get ideas, then create various rough designs to...

2D sensor fitting on Gen 4

Just looking for info on fitting the 2D potentiometer on a Gen 4. The normal left side looks pretty much impossible unless you rock the top of the radiator backwards. Looks possible on the right side...

Re: Gen 4 Neutral issues - Solution

Any bike with a slipper clutch needs checking if you ride hard. It’s the back torque making the clutch slip as designed.

    Re: hill start control

Personally I tried it and immediately turned it off. It wouldn’t allow me to pull away full stop. MAde me look like a Lerner. Why would an experienced motorcyclist need it anyway. If they can’t pull...

    Gav,

Thanks for the info, I was down at Barnstormers Alton the other day checking what had been done and what hadn’t. It was built in 2019 and had nothing updated in Hardware or Software. I’ll...

    Re: Battery and auto blipper

Ian, there's many a thread on this. Once everything has been checked and set, it works perfectly every time on a Gen 3 or 4.

From memory: someone else may chime in with other bits I've forgotten....

    Re: Battery and auto blipper

It'll still drain the battery. Sorry I don't know about removing it. Over winter I'll be stripping my bike so i'll take a look.

I've kept all my bikes on trickles chargers since they first came...

    Re: Battery and auto blipper

If the bike hasn't got a Tracker or Alarm, it should last 10-14 days without a trickle charger depending on temperature. J
