    have a look at the caliper sliding pins, mine felt ok in that you could move the caliper / piston by hand, but a good clean and regrease sorted it out after all that pads, bleeding and disc run out...

    would need to check, model number but the ball joint end is available in 2 sizes, the one for bmw is smaller, but the bigger one will fit but restricts movement unless you take a couple of mm off the...

    there is a switched lead on the RH side of the headstock 12v can use either bmw plug or positap into the leads is easier.
    i've also run a transformer off the battery to charge the phone and stuck it...

    HM racing can do them, was going to get mine done (gen1) but have since got hold of a low mileage stock one, was going to put on, whilst they do it, not got round to it yet.

    i mostly use rosso corsas so the profile might be different, but i've had an old 4xv r1, 2 gsxr1000s k6 and k8 and the bmw gen1, and 30 cold has been my default for years, always have a little bit...

    agree about pressures 30 30 to start for track, what was dmc12 running?
    looks like might be high, always get off the edge on mine (not the front)

    I think it was alpha racing, i got it from park lane bmw 5 or 6 yrs ago as part of a quick action throttle conversion was about £80 at the time for the throttle, bracket and renthal grips

    the switch gear clips to the prong sticking out from the grip and the one bolt holds everything in place.
    there is an aftermarket "bracket" you can get to replace the grip and hold the switch in...

    was a fairly basic one off ebay, found link, think it was around £6, choice of LED colours, mines blue. it's about 50x25x5mm thick, can't remeber how long the fly lead was, probably about a foot....

    after 2 pattern generators and the original bmw "burning out" I've wired a digital voltmeter into the switched accessory socket RH side of the headstock with some positaps.

    just a note on wear, the bm came with bridgstones which were ok, switched to my favourite rosso corsas and eventually to 200/55 on the back. I've used these on track and on my gixxer they were good...

    forgot, also had to replace clutch microswitch and the return spring on the actuating arm.
    slight play in rear wheel bearings at 22k, replaced those and front, which also needed the rim rolling out...

    46,000 on my 2010,
    chaffed wiring loom around 18k
    Generator failed around 35k (as did a couple of pattern replacements, SH BMW one sorted it).
    LH switch gear (trip reset) around 35k.

    Mine has K&N for about 40,000 miles, no problems , power is good 199bhp with full akra and PCv. cleaned and oiled once or twice. Original plugs NGK are good for 18,000 miles, same as the shim...
