Blimey I felt the R1 was fairly telepathic when I used one at Donny for a session and a day at Almeria...
Anyway it's great to hear you're loving life on the RR and feeling that it's a real step...

Aesthetically the Gen1-3 mudguard on a Gen4 is no no for me.

    Re: Your other guilty pleasure.

You'll need the other exhaust to pass noise regs at the track if those triple pipes are as loud as they used to be. Though Euro4 may have curtailed that.

Axle protectors as I already noted. Fuel cap/Healtech's might be the same.

Otherwise...get it all up for sale.

    Very few.

Things like axle sliders. But you'd better off listing what you have so we can review it for carry over items.

The model specific cable for the Aim Solo connects to the loom not the ODB1 or 2 port...there's a specific plug on the loom which goes to the OEM alarm if you have one.

    Re: Afternoon All (Sussex)

Gen3 is heavier so this can smooth out some roads...but then the Gen4 has better ergonomics with the exception of the seat. The Gen4 seat is about as comfy as a nail board by all accounts. I don't...

    Re: Afternoon All (Sussex)

Welcome Alex, ZX6R's and R6's are a hoot, but very different to ride. The RR can be a handful for sure.

Gen3 vs. 4 really depends on budget and risk appetite. A decent Gen3 is a potent machine...

I wouldn't expect an ODB2 data reader to work for datalogging. These are for cars and reading the codes etc, fairly useless otherwise.

Go Sports Touring tyre in Winter.
Fyi Bridgestone just launched the T32. They've been on a roll of late producing great tyres, would be worth an experiment, till you can fit summer boots back on.

Just read that the Carbon Wheels will be homologated for WSBK next year.

Wonder if that means all makes can run them, despite not selling them with a bike, or if BMW have stolen a march on others...
