    Re: Bike goes right side

The gen 4 had the engine/gearbox moved slightly over I seem to recall, to balance the bike better.
  2. Re: Dealer damaged my key whilst doing warranty work

    Thats not right.

Maybe they just didn’t notice the key condition? I suppose the service department is unlikely to inspect each key on arrival to ensure it leaves in the same state.

    Re: Puncture repair

I hate punctures. I keep a holt’s tyreweld can nearby (cars too). Great stuff. Saved a mate being stuck on the A1 after a rideout once.

    Re: Used car market

Factories and supply chains were severely disrupted last year by lockdowns. New car production stopped. No new cars made meant second hand didnt get traded in, and so on. The scale of the global...

I had a full system on my gen 4 with no engine light and never got round to doing a remap.
  12. Re: Number plates with black rear plate not white

    Hi,

It’s very kind and generous of you to organise a discount for forum members but please check with admin before doing so please.

    No offence taken.
  13. Re: Number plates with black rear plate not white

This isn’t anything to do with the forum.

    What does quoting s1k achieve?

  16. Re: 2015 RR engine light on, limp mode, throttle hardly works, won’t Rev

Straight back to dealer, something isn’t right, resetting the eml is imo asking for trouble if it’s in limp mode.
  17. Sticky: Re: BeMoto - Motocycle Insurance - Deals for Forum Members

I originally approached them for a multibike quote and was very happy with the service and price, so asked them if they could do something with the forum, they came up with the deal. If it is win...
  18. Sticky: Re: BeMoto - Motocycle Insurance - Deals for Forum Members

Sorry to upset the apple cart but bemoto give me (as the forum) a commission of £10 for each new customer that takes advantage of the deal. Nothing on renewals. I did post this info before but tbh...

Re: pillion pegs / exhaust hanger help

    Hi OP.

Depends which akra can you have fitted but they sometimes came with two sleeves, one to attach to the hangar, and another one of slightly different length for attaching to the pillion peg.
  20. Re: Lean angles on track - when do you run out of tyre?

    100%.

Knee down isn’t a result of speed, just body position.
  21. Re: Lean angles on track - when do you run out of tyre?

    Re: Hello from portugal

Silves was a long time ago. Last trip was on a GSA from the Picos across to Vila Real, then down through the wine valleys with a stop in Serta, ending up in the Algarve. Stunning trip.
