Can you not just turn the spring round and jam the flap open and leave the cables fitted? Thats what I used to do in my R1's, nt looked at my gen 4 yet

Following this post, I have Kriega luggage I use on my Gen3 and my gen 4 is due in March however I can't see where to strap it on. I used to hook the straps round the subframe on the gen 3 but there is nothing under the seat on the new one :(
