Evotech tail tidy no plate light

LEDs are, by definition, polarity sensitive!

Evotech tail tidy no plate light

I had to switch the wires around to get mine to work (ie. connect wires the opposite way round to what the instructions say). I'm guessing some lights have been wired incorrectly in production.

    Fairing fin broken

BMW replaced mine under warranty. They told me they are now made differently so should not crack. Its been 9 months since replacement and no sign of cracking.

Have you had chance to test?

    rev kick

Has the software update done the trick?

    rev kick

Mine does this too. Also similar thing around 8000 revs sometimes. Its never caused me a problem, but one day it might happen at a time when I really don't need it to! Please post back what you discover.

    End can

Just by the rear brake lever there is a black cover. You have to take that off (after unscrewing an awkardly placed bolt at the back), then you can pop off cables that control the opening and closing. Once the cables are disconnected, the flapper is held open by a spring. I didn't get an error...

    End can

Stubby end can plus disconnecting exhaust flapper (so it's permanently fully open) produces a decent sounding bike. I've done that with the Akra motogp style end can - looks better, sounds better - sorted. Will never be as good as a full system, but that's overkill for me.

    Something being announced next week...(M1000RR)

Will they use the new bike in the current WSBK season or do they have to wait for the next season?

    Engine management problem

Have you messed with the exhaust valve cables? That can cause the engine mgmt to throw a wobbler.

    Discharge

That is all true, but what I said still holds. Hyperion manufacture LiFePO4 batteries and their guidance is "The voltage of each LiFePO4 cell in the battery pack should not be drawn below 2.5v. Drawing voltage below this can cause permanent damage to the pack or make the battery non-recognisable...

    Discharge

This may be of interest to you :- https://electronics.howstuffworks.com/everyday-tech/lithium-ion-battery2.htm Note the paragraph that reads "If the voltage of a lithium-ion cell drops below a certain level, it's ruined."

    Akrapovic MotoGP stubby

With the exhaust servo connected, I would say it's a bit louder than stock, certainly a deeper sound. I didn't run the stock can with exhaust servo disconnected, so cannot compare that.

    Akrapovic MotoGP stubby

I've got the akra stubby on mine. Looks much nicer than the stock. With the exhaust servo disconnected, sound pretty good too. If you do disconnect the servo, you may need a servo eliminator gizmo to prevent fault codes. I did so I bought the one from Healtech, works a treat.

    Front Fork Issue (Gen4 owners)

Re: Need a favor (Gen4 owners) Do you know if the old DDC unit was a 'problem' other than the noise? My fork makes this noise and I am not sure whether to complain about it. I can easily live with it if I know it's nothing serious....
