I have found that of all tyres Dunlop are the worst when cold. I know all tyres have to be warmed up to work properly but some like BSB's and Racetecs you can push almost straight out of the garage, Dunlops you can't and grip limits on them drop off a cliff halfway through the tread life IMO

I believe the K3 has a very thin carcass as do the K1 and K2 compared to the other supersport tyres. Mine only lasted 1000 miles as well which is a bit harsh so switched to BSBs

Lol very true. Clacton is made up of many many odd and strange people :) Living only 9 miles away we affectionately call it "crack town" but maybe we should change it to "cat town". But it also has the highest percentage of licenced dangerous animals kept as "sort of pets" in the country. So...
