Hi Oli think I'll try the light tint MRA first although the oem screen is good it just looks boring. I'm glad you agree with the fairing as i've only seen pics of the bike as it is too far away Alan Jeffries Yorkshire I'm in Carmarthenshire where all my riding is mid Wales. Cheers Paul

Alright fellas back again after a gen 1 around 3 years ago. In the meantime I've had an MT10, fireblade, S1000r now trading in my 14' GS with a 15' S1000rr. Took a demo out yesterday couldn't believe the improvement's over the gen1 which was an outstanding bike just ergo's didn't fit me. Roll on...

42 only been riding 3.5 years on my fifth bike already! yamaha fz6 too small, honda varadero 1000 too big, kawa z1000sx great bike, 1200gs watercooled great bike but average age of rider was about 96! Now with 11 plate s1000rr great bike.......for now!

Well I've had my RPHA 10+ for 2 days and I find it far superior to my Arai chaser V. It's much lighter, quiter and it doesn't mist up as much. I found the Arai very overrated. The acid test will be tomorrow mornings 40 mile commute across the Brecon Beacons, however I can't see my view...

Ha ha I've left the plastic film on my pin lock before now until a few of the boys in work noticed and I still haven't heard the end of it!! PLONKER. I'm going down the local bike store tomorrow to try both on. Then order from lids direct as nobody else can compete price wise.

Also I notice that you've got a tinted visor. How's it fare when the light deteriotes?

Thanks for such an in-depth review. Still on the fence, shark is ?250 in lids direct hjc rpha around ?200 pin lock very important for me also.....could be the deciding factor. cheers

Thanks for the replies. I took the plunge and picked a 2011 up on Saturday. 55 miles return journey no probs. lovely bit if kit, similar dimensions to the gsxr I took out. May look into changing my helmet, got an arai chaser v at the moment with a lot of wind coming underneath. The rpha 10+...
