We are flying out tomorrow morning, 1st run of the Gen 4 after build. Red/Black No 29.

    Gen 4 Suspension

Cable tie only tells you its been there, not the duration. It could merely be a bup on track under heavy breaking. You could end up stiffning your suspension for a milliesecond of bottoming out.

    M Calibration Kit 2019+

I believe the price is regulated by the FIM, thats wgat they told me when i bought some RCK Pro kits for the Gen 3 I assume logging is done in the dash, if not thats more wonga for a 2D logger (oh and £1500 for software) You also need the dash mount/fairing bracket, Quick Shifter. The Gen 3...

    S1000RR 2020 - Tracktoy

You need to strip bike, leave engine in but remove airbox and all bodywork, ECU, lights, clocks etc. Every single wire on the bike will be removed, including injector wires (engine loom) Fit the new loom which will eliminate all light connections, side stand and original switchgear and other...

    S1000RR 2020 - Tracktoy

Its a complete loom replacement, easy enough to do. I've done a few RCK Pro kits on the Gen3's.

So bike run up on dyno today and I can confirm that there is no limp mode activated with DDC removed, only the dash error which is no big deal fo now.

    GEN 4 DDC Removal

The dash is cleared if you press the thumbwheel to the left, its just going to be annoying until a fix is available And yes, you need the dash for various reasons.

    GEN 4 DDC Removal

I can confirm that the bike starts and runs with the suspension disconnected. I can't confirm limp mode as it has no chain and sprockets fitted. On Saturday it will be on Dyno and I'll confirm whats what then. Great to hear about HM bmwbadboy, dash error is not a worry atm. Bike ships out to...

    GEN 4 DDC Removal

Yep, there is the Alpha / Motec option but its not yet available and its £5k plus. I've also just heard that due to DDC errors the bike will be in limp mode, so you may want to hang off if its not just dash errors.

    GEN 4 DDC Removal

Has anyone removed the DDC from a GEN4 and if so what did you do about the dash errors. BMW thought they could de-install SOS and DDC via a flash but it looks like they can only remove the SOS. They have been a fantastic help and this is a learning curve for all, hopefully there is a solution...

Just placed deposit on HP4 Race

For me, with the HP4 R, no not really. You just need to push it in the pits (not joking) to notice a difference. When riding it, even though you are not going any faster than you have before it just so right. Its really hard to explain. After riding it for the first time the words that came to...

    Best source/forum for HP4 race ?

Download the RCK PRo software and have a look at the help files there. A lot of info on the datalogging and ECU setup. The HP4 Race is unlike any other bike and cannot be compared to a road bike. Way more capable than a Gen 4 or V4R and anyone who says different doesnt have one or hasn't ridden...
