    Rear hugger 2015

Well.... i am not a motorcycle expert, but i am a mechanical engineer, and i m not sure why it has a hole !, battery box clearance maybe, possibly from wind tunnel testing, i doubt just styling as it really defeats its purpose to a good degree. I think i saw a rather good solution from another...

    Midland S1000RR

You know what i got caught with the faulty stop/start button on my brand new 14, pain in the arse breakdown. But the real pisser is the constant problems across various BMW models with the same sodding switch for a number of years, its beyond my comprehension. I feel your pain for a fault that...

    Shift Light

Hi, all you need to do ( as long as they have removed the electronic limiter, ie you can rev beyond 9k) is go into setup menu and choose the point that the light comes on and off, I have mine on at 12500 and off at 16000 but you can choose your own.

    Fork seal issues?

Yup, mine is exactly like you describe still doing it at 7 months/1800 miles. I just wipe it off and try to ignore it. No drops, just heavy smear and the dirt makes it show, or "rings" as you put it.

    Gearbox gear change issue

Hello Daz My 2014 has 1500 odd miles and i had this too. Sort of a strange crunch feeling as it changes via the clutch, sometimes it did, sometimes not. I put a bit more tension in my chain, following the manual by pushing down then up with a screwdriver in the middle run, and reduced it from...

    Oil Cooler

All, Quick question for you all, my oil cooler always seems "cool" on my 2014 1000RR, there is slight warmth there probably from the engine radiant heat but its never been hot to my knowledge, the engine is bloody hot however. Is this how yours are?, maybe I'm not pushing it to the required...

Bike cut out at 70 mph and wont start

Hi, As others have already suggested may well be the stop/start button, and its associated wiring. My new 2014 packed up and required recovery for the same issue. Same symptoms. Bet they soon sort that one for you. Good luck, Dave

    Chain cleaner

Hi, best is sometimes expensive, but best within price and availability is without question paraffin (kerosene) on rags or soft brush then left to dry. it will not damage any O ring that I have come across in my path as an engineer. Dave

    Anyone using the Abba Skylift?

Hello, Another alternative which i use and would happily recommend is the ABBA Superbike stand with the front lift arm kit also ( was if i remember about ?150 as a whole kit, with the RR fitting kit direct from them ) Cant fault it myself. Cheers
