I’ve still got the bike but it is for sale. I’m a reluctant salesperson!!
Doesn’t the k67 have cabling already present for active suspension like on the gen 3?
Sorry @scooby I only just saw your reply here. yes it will be the BMW 2D system that you sold me many moons ago. I added suspension pots and used it heavily whist racing and for trackdays. I also did a lot of work with others which was mostly on the more basic systems like the Aim Solo DL, etc...
It’s quality if you get the suspension pots. It was my standard routine to do a few sessions to
get used to the track conditions and then use the suspension data to get the right springs. It would give me another second or two almost every time.
As above, there's no magic with them. Its just the fitting which is nice and convenient with the official one. Its worth mentioning on top of this that whilst being Alpha it is pricey, it's not actually that much more than other brands. The sensor needs to be high quality because of the...
I really enjoyed this track. To start with I was not very excited as its a car track and mostly long straights and sharp second gear corners but once you get fast on it and find rhythm its super good. As said before @bmwbadboy your bike looks like its handling really well now.
I live in Richmond, West London. As Vlad and others say security is essential. You need to have a garage or keep the bike in the house if you are closer to the center where garages are near impossible to find. A little way out it is easy enough to find a garage. If you leave a bike on the street...
This site is excellent for weather and includes track surface temps:

The easiest way to deal with this is to buy a laser surface temp gun. They are only around ?30 and save a lot of hassle if you get you head around the idea of recording track temps.
In the UK, particularly MSV tracks that have slippery surfaces, if surface temp is below 10 degrees then you...
I havn't been on the BMW but from other bikes I would agree on 16-45 or 46 most likely. 16-43 if you want to reduce gear changes but you'll probably have to use 1st if you did that.
It would be interesting to stick up the corner and straight speed track overviews we were looking at. I think I still have my one from last year as well. I often want to put this stuff up for the forum interest but struggle to find time to present it.
I can make an educated guess on where you are loosing time as its the places I gained five seconds last week:
1 - Corners 3/4 onto the short straight. You can run mega speeds through here on the power but if your bike is over sprung or you are not going hard enough it doesn't turn so you waste...
