Sounds like they would be better on my F800ST then. Any ides what would be good for the S1000? I would like something with good wet/dry grip but reasonable mileage. Is such possible? Thanks.

Sounds like what things do when they run out of gas. Could it be a fuel delivery problem?

I am able to get 185 - 215km before the light comes on. I haven't tried a whole tank in a single mode yet.
