ive got a red and white 2012.f$$king loved it when i got it.last week i found out it was to be recalled.i decided i hated it and wanted rid of it even if i would be thousands out of pocket. all weekend i worked myself up into a frenzy,i'd decided i'd get get rid of it at whatever the cost...

my dealer told me today that bmw is putting together a package part number which will include all the parts needed to do the repair. these kits are on a 3 week back order,as soon as they become available we'll get our bikes fixed. rr1diz,i,ve got a red and wite that was built in september 2011...

shit. i've been reading about this all week on the american forum hoping it was some sort of internet wind up. i guess we'll find out next week what happens to our bikes. i'm hoping my early build (september 2011) will be exempt. fingers crossed for everybody with a 2012. can't decide,one minute...

got mine booked in for 8 tomorrow morning,can't wait to get rid of the limiter,its like riding a motorcross bike going up through the box!

i've also got the bmw tailpack,looks and fits really well and is officially speed rated to 136 mph! good advise about the paint,i'll keep an eye out for that.

for me its like having an iphone,i know i'm better than everyone else,they just wont admit it! 8) they're lust jealous,they'll get over it and probably buy themselves s1's. in a few years,all the inteligent riders will have them. n.b,i don't have an iphone.

can somebody post pics of there tail tidy? i need to get one for my bike. d3 looks ok on there website but the pictures have a lot of glare and its hard to see detail. cheers.
