I got an extension cable made and located it on the top of the tail piece.................helped but still hit and miss. I've now bought a 2D unit.

I've got one on my Gen 3............works when it feels like it.

The Motoscan Ultimate app with a OBD module will reset your throttle, gearbox etc for a 1/3 of the cost of a GS-911.

Before I went full ktech on my Gen 3, lighter spings / changed air gap / 2D pot really improved the front end - I used MCT as well.

Are you aware there are two different internal diameter tubes available? (60 and 50.8mm)

It's just a floater over the crest......usually drops quite quickly which is handy as soon as it does, you need to be setting up for the first turn.

I've had both Lightech and Gilles on previous bikes and would only buy Lightech again..........saying that, I haven't bothered with any for the Gen 3 and can't say it's been an issue.

It's the crest towards the end near the breaking point..........135ish mph and the front just lifts.

Best pads I've tried ...... DR Bikes are the cheapest I've seen for these - even for the 4 pad Gen 3 calipers which are normally the most expensive, they are "only" ?320.

Can't comment on JW but Jenko and Kyle Ryde are really good instructors.

Re: K-Tech Suspension They made a small batch for Phil Crowe but not sure if they would make them for Joe Public......... ?2.5k ish for the TRD is a bit much unless you are either loaded or race at a high level. I think Bitubo do a shock for around the same price as a DDS Pro.

I only wanted a front and three rears but as you say, he will only sell pairs at the moment. I bit the bullet and bought 3 pairs but I can understand why he's doing it that way - I think he has a load of fronts and limited rears and it's a sellers market.
