I've done one of these quite recently as well and had the benefit of some one on one instruction as people dropped out. I can't recommend it enough well worth it.
I've used Mucoff on a few bikes and I haven't had any bad experiences i do wet the bike first then apply it after that use a brush to agitate it and rinse I think the trick is not to let it dry as someone said. I've just brought some SDOC100 gel cleaner my mate uses it on his GS and his bike...
I'm going through this debate now as I've found a good price on a set of HP rearsets but the spare parts issue does concern me. Where are people getting the Alpha Racing rearsets from? Are there any forum discounts?
Hi i'm thinking the same i don't really want to splash out for some rearsets yet so might go with just the foot pegs. Would these fit the standard rearsets?

I use an abus granit chain+lock, ground anchor and oxford disk lock. I'm also glad i'm not the only person who has a camera in his garage so he can keep an eye on his bike at work....
