Cheers Phil. Update last night was BMW suggested to try previous computer set up (replaced by new kit 18 months ago) but model too new to be reconised so still pending resolution.

Still no word on specific vin range affected? Bit concerned that is a wide range of dates of manufacure affected by this, so could be a 2011 or 2012 dated model......

Due to pick up a shine yellow s1000rr later this week, a dealer pre reg 2011 with akapovic end pipe, seat cowl and dark screen all thrown in, can't wait, but will miss the zx10r am trading in for it
