Re: What have you bought for the gen4?
My alpha racing ones.are exactly the same. New wheel nut @ 32mm instead of 34mm and the nut has switched sides also. Bonamici do some amazing rearsets. I've got them on my bike and can't fault them at all
Re: What have you bought for the gen4?
I thought about not fitting them but then Just fitted them to have even more carbon on the bike! Just need to get an aftermarket Guard now, I'm think the Alpha racing mesh
Re: What have you bought for the gen4?
No worries, thought you had from what you were describing. Did you receive those bits when you got the Belly pan?
Re: What have you bought for the gen4?
No bud not these bits. you need to go underneath the lights above the front mudguard. It's basically you get carbon bits of the top half of the OEM inner fairing bit that holds the OEM rad guard.
Re: BMW OEM Radiator Guards
Thats true - When you buy the Ilmberger belly pan you also get 2 nice carbon upper parts - wind deflectors I think they are called. If you fit these they go in the place of the OEM mounting in post #573 which means you now cannot fit the OEM part. Does anybody have...

Re: What have you bought for the gen4?
That's strange - my guards were never attached to the rad but were attached to the inner plate sort of thing - you see a few for sale on ebay. I couldn't see where to reclip my OEM guards to, am I missing something?
Re: Gen 4 Parts
Please can you look at your radiator and tell me what radiator cover you have fitted? I couldn't get the OEM Guards to fit once i fitted my Ilmberger belly pan

Aah, that explains why I couldn't upload a pic then! I might well join premium. I'm down in Cornwall so it will be predominantly road riding but I am going to do a track day next year, at least one!
My exhaust is on the way - its an M4 full system
Thanks for the welcome. Yes the Gixxer was still really good but its nowhere near as refined as the BMW. I just never gelled with it and I instantly gelled with the BMW. I love the riding position - it was all just little things with the Gixxer. I wasn't even looking for a new bike and never...
Ended up getting my bike after going into the dealers to get my X5 wheel bearing done. Saw this and couldn't resist that was it. I had a 2019 Gixxer thou before and I ahve to say the S1000rr M sport wipes the floor with it in every way.
