    Gear patterns...Road or Race????

A German instructor at a Ring event i attenedd in the summer had a 2011 which he had modified to race shift. He definitely had the standard rear sets. I don't know how he did it but you maybe lucky on one of the forums. I'll ask a couple of the guys who where on the course. If I find out, I'll...

Top tip for blanking the holes after removing the rear pegs.

+1 ......... Hides the screw holes and are great tie down points when transporting. If I didn't need to occasionally put the bike in a van I would have gone for the B&Q specials.

    The dreaded insurance renewal!

Thanks for all the comments. Finally renewed with MCE, but did not accept their original renewal quote. Phoned for a new quote and got it significantly cheaper, definitely worth the extra effort. BMW Ins was the next best. If I hadn't already been with MCE I would have gone to BMW.

    The dreaded insurance renewal!

Don't get me started about Carole Nash. When I sold the SV recently I lost 70% of the premium even though I used only 20% of the insurance's duration. The dreaded insurance renewal!

Got my insurance renewal through and the envelope hit the mat that bit harder due to the extra digits making up the premium :'(. Being serious for at least a second, I went with MCE last year as they beat the BMW insurance renewal quite significantly. Their premium has now jumped up >:( I am...

    Extended BMW Warranty

That's £310 annually! If you pay monthly, it's £29. Which works out to be £348 - that's a good APR (for BMW) ;).

    Extended BMW Warranty

My bike is coming up to 2 years old and this morning BMW's extended warranty letter drop through the letter box. You can get a personal quote via a web link using a pin number provided (which I have not done yet). The letter offers an example costing which includes: - BMW warranty - BMW...

    My bike

Hi Godzilla - what make are the fairings? Were you happy with the fit? Troy, the casing protectors look like GB Racing - could be wrong but look very much like them.
