    S1000XR Gen2 - What is this icon ?

The actual reference to that Icon is as follows. It is the coding plug icon. Or the old term for the K46 was the slick plug. The K46 coding plug ( AKA Slick Plug ) was a hardware item that when on the harness connector for a couple of reasons. The original reason was it turned on Slick mode...

    2023 Forged Wheel Tyre size

The BMW hugger will clear a 200/60 on the K67. The K46 has issues on this however. The tire warmer depending on the brand you have is also an issue these days. The M1000RR has a carbon hugger and more clearance for tire warmers.

    2011 S1000RR engine problem

These ECU's have problems with the coil drivers and the injector drivers. I have provided cloning service to several people to resolve these dead cylinder issues when all else has already been tried. ( coils, fuel, plugs ) The 2010 and 2011 have the 388 version ECU and it can be cloned from...

    S1000rr m sport

If this is your first BMW S1000RR you will be amazed of course. The power is top of the line these days. The features are still ahead of most of the main sportbike manufactures.

    S1000RR 2022 Front Brake Pads

These pads from the M1000 on the S1000 are excellent. The Nissin calipers are really enhanced for bite point if you put a Brembo 19x18 forged version master cylinder on there also. I have the 21 M1000 and the 23 S1000RR. The M1000 has the Nissin still and my S1000 has the Brembo GP4 calipers...

    2023 Forged Wheel Tyre size

The carbon wheel and the forged wheel are the same size. 6 inch wide and 17 inches. You can put any tire you want on there. Its all about the feel of the rider and how the rake from front to rear is needed for certain conditions. If you want to just keep it simple and get the same tire as the...

I guess I just had to join since I am talked about so nicely

I already tried that on my 2015 K46. I was at the Dragon in Dells Gap in August 2015 and a rain storm set in nearly an hour from the cabin. I had no choice but to push on and ride the storm. With the 2D sensor mounted upside down it collected too much rain water and burned out. That is one...

I guess I just had to join since I am talked about so nicely

Well, I have 3 sets of 6mm rotors I have a CMRA expert license I attend about 5-8 other track days a year. Yup.. I think I have been there doing that.

Its simple. 2D said that they are not working on a method of attaching the sensor with additional clearance to the radiator guards. The clearance is worse than it was with the K46. I tried on the backside and since no bracket is available for the brake caliper boss, I just did like WSBK teams...

silly me, I have not thought to drill a hole somewhere in the rear wheel assembly so maybe it will fit. I really hope only spacers are needed in some way. I have not even tried this yet. Maybe today.

I guess I just had to join since I am talked about so nicely

So many projects with the ECU issues in the USA, the front brakes are starting to bug me, the calipers wont fit 6mm rotors, vendors tell people the K46 stuff wont fit or work... At least I have resolved the ECU issues. The bike is very fast. The problem is that when you go fast, you have to stop...

    Hey from Toronto

Haha.. I know you ! I guess the K67 can bring us all together. I came here to see if they had any better updates than the 'other' forum was talking about. Plus some people here didnt like my idea of making the 2D front sensor working on the K67. The funny thing is that if you email 2D racing...

I guess I just had to join since I am talked about so nicely

So here I am on the UK forum now. I was emailed some links of this forum on my other postings in the 'other' S1000RR forum. I never really thought much about all the various forums dealing with the S1000RR, but, since I became involved with BMW in March 2015 I have been very happy with the...
