Pre Track Day Checks ?

Hey... having had a very bad mechanical failure in the past at a track day :-\ , I'm keen to know what people check before they go to one. I know it may seem like a silly question, but I'd appreciate peoples advice and thoughts. Although the failure I experienced on track wasn't my fault, its still cost me £1700.

You never stop learning as they say.......

its kind of out of date , but what cost you 1700 squid

was it an SD KTM or RC8?

what track day u on?

tyre pressures
chain
mirrors off
number plate off
spare oil/coolent and any others
carry gaffa tape
red bull
any tools

Thank god it was Snetterton and as I live only 12 miles from track , it was a matter of unhitching trailer blast back home for key (laying in kitchen ready to be put in car DOH!) and back in time for first session. ;D
