First track day done on the HP4 at Paul Ricard track in the south of France.

Great place and we rode with Fredie Spencer, nice bloke.

If you get the chance to ride there, do it. The track is good even if you only do the 3.8 klm version, loads of run off and some really quick corners. It was however bloody windy and a Panigale literally gt blown off track in front of me in a quick right taken flat in 4th.....

Rode with a mate thats run a HP4 on track for 2 years and was, and is, one of the quickest riders on track (at nearly 50 so there is still hope for me yet...)

I fitted the Ilmberger fairings, they fit a treat and you can keep the side stand which is very practical....

Now getting the bike ready for Aragon in 3 weeks, really looking forward to that one. Love the track and we have 3 full days so will probably invest in a pair of Dunlop KR's...(anybody ran thier S1000rr on them?)

+1. Thinking of going to the Bol dor next year at Paul Ricard and have read good things about it. Am I right in thinking the track was recently renovated? How is it to ride?

The track was renovated some years ago as it was owned by Bernie, its has the best infrastructure I have seen at a track and I have been to many over the past 30 years.

to ride its great, only down side is its a bit flat.

Best track for me is Aragon followed by Le Mans.
