Hi got a 2013 hp4.....just wondering when activing alarm no bleeps just indercators flash'can I program the alarm to bleep....try the key in ignition three times button one off on then button 2.....not worked gratefull for help please...

i had the BMW alarm on my S1K and programmed no bother but just aint got round to doing it on my HP4....i'll have a go I thought when see your thread

tried three times and no beep....that was with switching the ignition off after the last step and getting the four beeps confirmation.
as a last ditch attempt I done the sequence again...option 1, option 1 (no step 2 I know) then option 1 and finally option 2.
this time I left the ignition switched on until I got the four beep confirmation...I then switched the ignition off and hey presto!!! beeps when arm and disarm

hope this works for you too

Had 1 fitted to mine from new, picked it up and complained no beep! Apparently its illegal in some places hence no beep just flashers lol

Well tyed advise still not bleeping on armup and dearm.....so try other options......thanks any way...

hiya....

take it you done what said in the manual??

turn ignition on.....press button 1 x3 (button with lines on) system beeps
turn ignition off.....press button 2 x3 (button no lines on) system beeps

turn ignition on (get three beeps) then press either button 1 or 2 depending on what you want

1st ~ sound disarm /arm button 1 once
2nd ~ press any button as no option button 1 once
3rd ~ alarm tone button 1 once
4th ~ automatic arming when ignition off button 2 once (arm yourself manually)

then wait 30 seconds and you'll get 4 beeps

turn ignition off, key out of ignition and should beep when arm alarm button 1, and again when disarm...button 2

Tryed that no joy......it bleeps after three pushes..... Then bleeps after button....2...pushed but still just indercators flash no bleep...cheers any way....might have word at dealer ship....
thank you so much! the picture is very useful!

can you please confirm - on the left now you have 3 plugs in total and on the right 2 plugs (small) for the leds?

did your bike come with the alarm from the factory or did you retrofitted it?

as you look at the bike in original picture I posted there is a black connection (LED indicator) and a white box connector on the LEFT SIDE (Exhaust side) and one Black connector (LED indicator) on the right hand side (chain side)
one other then goes to the alarm. had it installed before picked the bike up at the dealers.

above link should take you to my photo bucket....uploaded pictures with alarm removed so can see connection boxes clearer

thanks a lot!!! I have fixed it over the weekend! the plug I was looking for was pluged with a blanking plug which contains the resistor.
Based on your pictures I identified the cables and discovered my plug!

I have noticed that on your picture, the white plug is tight with cable tie to underneath the right indicator plug.

However, in my setup, I have attached the right indicator plug on the right of the alarm bracket (it clicks into place nicely) and on the left side of the alarm bracket went the left indicator plug.

I see that the white large plug has also provision to be nicely "clicked" into place, except that I don't see a matching place anywhere. For the time being it is laying freely on the bottom under the alarm, but I would rather find the right place for it - it should slide into place just like indicators do.

Anyone can look under their seat and check where is the "stock" position of the white plug?
