I've got several sets of the compression underwear, socks etc that they've done previously. Much better quality than the EDZ undersuit I had that holed inside 6 months.
Might not buy a helmet, or their kevlar jeans (for no reason other than confidence), but the less safety critical stuff gets my vote.

I've bought bike stuff from aldi in the past.
set of winter gloves had for 6 years now, still going strong.
Summer gloves (same as whats in there latest offer) lasted 2 years of everyday use (bargain for £15)
Disc lock, don't use it much but again its 6 years old and works perfectly.
Neck warmer, wear it always, misses had to fix a stitch on it once but it's 3 years old and still going.

Had a look, the boots aren't bad, so got a pair, can't complain for £30, do as back up. The gloves by thinsulate are decent for summer use (£20), the jeans look pretty crap, plenty of other stuff. The best neckwarmer is the one on workwear section, good quality and for only £2 !!
