Today a post has gone on the American S1000 rr forum, from a member I think in Malaysia stating BMW are now sorting the faulty switch gear problems, by fitting a new modified unit. Let's hope it filters down over here as well.

Already has. Mine are being fitted on feb 7th, Left and Right side for free just have to pay £30ish in labour because my bike is out of warranty
