Thought I'd say hi - looking to get an S1000rr to go with my 2012 R1200GSA, for when I need a bit of an adrenaline rush. Hoping to do a few track days, (not done any before) to improve my overall riding. Not sure whether to go for a second hand one to start with, or save up a bit and get the HP4 - may be a bit extravagant as I'm clearly no Casey Stoner. Looking forward to it whatever it comes in!.

Yes, I'd noticed that they don't hold their value that well - is it because of the HP4?
 
Nah, its just BMW hype... a 3year old would be just above half price. You wont loose much if you go that route then decide on the HP4 later..
