So Iv had no luck with getting a second set of wheels for the BM. The wheels I have been offered have been mega money. So mega infact, it was cheaper for me to buy another bike....

So I did

She a 2003 GSXR 600 and will serve me as a wet bike. She's got full titanium exhaust system. K tech fork internals. Race rear shock. A little head work and cams. She also came with wets on wheels...
She needs a little bit of a clean up and a service, but will see me right.
All this cost me less than a second set of wheels for the S1000rr. I got her for an absolute bargain from a friend.

Can't wait for the next wet TD

That's what I'm worried about. Not caring about crashing it lol. May spend ALOT of time in the gravel ;-)

Gained many contacts over the years through working in the bike business and having a few racer mates :)

So do we place our orders directly with you then?

As it's a wet bike,Russ, let's hope you never get to use it!

Fingers crossed Baz. Would much rather use the BM

Nice dude, may hang onto my 600 for that reason.....but I still don't like riding in the wet! lol :D

Ha ha. i love riding in the wet. It really improves your riding, teaching you how to be smooth, and everyone knows smooth is fast :)

Anyway. Got the bike striped down over the weekend and gave her a good clean (she was absolutely minging lol).

Anyway, I dropped her off at my Mechanic (Simon Tong @ SnS Bikes) today. She's going to have new chain & sprockets, full service inc plugs, valve clearances etc etc. I need to get a new tail piece, standard seat, set of wet scrubs and she's all good to go..

Really excited to get out on this, haven't ridden a 600 in a very long time :)

You didn't fancy servicing her yourself...or you save those skills for the BMW? lol :D
