Hi All,
Thought I've a quick blast tomorrow between showers. So I checked the bike tonight, tyres, oil, chain - usual stuff. Bike has been laid up on a trickle charger since 18 October when I had a op on the left wrist so really keen to get out there.

Tried to start it and the dashboard lights flashed like my Xmas tree before giving up the ghost entirely. I'm assuming it is the battery because even the hazard lights don't work but before I start splashing money, has this happened to anyone on here?

Cheers Fordy

Same happened to me end of last year before warrenty ran out. Called out bmw and he said although battery was down it was ok, and said the optimate wasnt a charger as such, just a holder. Jumped it and told me to give it a good run for half hour. Been alright since......... Whether its my alarm that upset it i dunno.....
