whats difference between 2011/2 exhaust system ? are headers down to cat same on both models ? cheers for any help

I read they were not
The diameter is slightly different and the heat shield has been done away with on the ( Budget) 2012 model as the cat has been moved slightly so the heat shield is not required anymore.
So the configuration is apparently different.....Is it enough to stop them being interchangable???

The headers on the 2010/2011 bikes have a constant OD pipe about 80mm long before the Cat , the 2012 has a bell mouth taper before the cat (if its to fit a ARCS system the 2010/2011 ARCS will not fit a 2012 header ).
