Gen 3 wheels on a Gen 4

Basically,the front wheel could be made to fit but the spacing of the discs is different.Unfortunately,the wrong way.The distance between the two discs is less on the gen4,which would necessitate offset discs(inwards) as opposed to spacers.It would then be necessary to adapt a gen4 abs ring to fit or,alternatively remount the abs sensor.
As for the rear wheel,that could be made to fit by using a spacer on the sprocket but it would need some modification to the brake caliper bracket.
At that point,I gave up!
