Abba stand fitting kit?

Hello Gang,
Does anyone know what the RR fitting kit for the Abba stand looks like?I have a bag of fittings from my previous bikes and I'm not sure which are the right ones.Thanks in advance.Zed

i know the fittings for a gsxr 1000 k6 fit perfectly cos i now have a spare set

Is the spare set for sale by any chance?Zed

Unionjack, did you find that the left fitting, the one that covers the bolt was a little tight? Just received the Abba stand, and I am having to practically jam it on to get it fully inserted, and wiggle it to get it off?

I use 5PW R1 (little tight) on one side and a GSXR early K (little loose) on the other - if it fits or is close enough then you shouldn't have issues. Sounds like the R1 part is the same part as swyatt2170's *BMW fitment.

Yep same here it has loosened up but was tighter than any others I have had in the past. Probably a thou too tight.

Left side fits a little snug.


Just ordered the mod to have the front off the ground.

Same here for the left side. After hitting it with a rubber mallet
a few times it now sems slightly easier to get on and off.

I've also just bought the Abba "legs" which get the front wheel
in the air by using a tie down strap from the swing arm or a bobbin.
Only used it once so far but seems a very stable way to get both
wheels in the air if you already have a Abba stand.

Ive always used either a front paddock stand or a trolley jack to raise the front, that addition from Abba looks good!

I had the same issue with the cup getting stuck on the bolt.
When I spoke to ABBA about it they stated that the original cup was slightly loose so they redesigned it to be tighter at customers request.
However, I had to use mole grips to get mine off, it was way too tight to use.
They send me an original cup, which is perfect on my 2012.

I also got the new stand add on at the NEC show. Not used it yet but looks to be solid construction like the rest of their kit.
