Last night of the proms

Sorry about me this is nothing to do with bikes
But did any off you watch the last night of the proms.ive watched this for many years (the last night) I'm not posh far from it but land of hope & glory mixed with pomp&circumstance should be the national anthem.

I haven't watched it in years. I have seen the pomp you mention at many a traditional british ceremony.

If we brits do one thing well its throw a jolly good show old bean.

For all its faults and despite me gritting my teeth with disdain everytime I pay the licence fee, the BBC does cover occasions of pomp and grandeur such as royal weddings, military parades, olympic ceremonies and such like with an expertise I have never seen from any other broadcast company.

I'm guessing this years 'last night of the proms' met with your approval?
