The usual 4am start to get to our (local) track yesterday where it was cold with grey skies.
Managed to get out twice when the heavens opened and we thought that was it for the day.
Amazingly the day and track dried up which saw another 2 outings.
The track has been resurfaced and is really smooth which is nice to ride on and great for the tyres!
Fairly happy with how I got on, plenty of front wheel shenanigans with the TC and shift light flickering away all day.
I must be getting better as I stayed upright again!

Glad you had a successful trip Loupe. Going back in the same state as you arrived is always a bonus!

Awesome stuff, I haven?t been on track since it?s been resurfaced (track/sprint car) but most are going 1sec faster with the new surface. Andy Forrest managed a 49.55 with his Honda turbo powered kitcar on Sunday there, utter madness.

Now that I?m selling the track car and don?t want to risk using it in case it breaks I might entertain the track with the bike.....see what happens lol!

Very glad to hear you had an enjoyable and safe day Loupe!
Fingers crossed the weather is blue skies, no wind and bone dry, oh and a comfortable 20 C next time [emoji4]

Great stuff mate, them slicks look great.. must be amazing grip off them

Its like a different bike set up in slick mode Stu.
I'm just learning, probably only 3 full track days under my belt but the confidence is growing with using slicks.
I'm nowhere near as good to use anything like the potential of the super corsas but I'm happier using slicks, just need to relax and stop holding my breath at the corners where I came off :eagerness:

Trackday

I'm glad you had a good time and kept it shiny side up. You really should venture down South as tracks like Donington Park are infinitely better...

I?d like to try the other tracks but it?s so far away that I?m as well going abroad.
I rode Donington at the Haslam event the first time I did a track day and really liked it.

Trackdays

Have a look at the Focused Events and No Limits websites as they often have two day back-to-back trackdays at the same circuit at a reduced price. This may make travelling the extra distance more palatable for you.
